601 Spanish

Tarea #2-6

Using index cards, create a flash card for all of the Spanish speaking countries.  In Spanish, write the name of country on one side in blue and the location in the top right corner in green. Then on the other side, write the capital of that country in red. You should end up with a total of 21 index cards.

*REMINDER: If you never brought in a pack of index cards to class, please do so.*

Tarea #2-5

Study all of your Spanish speaking countries and their capitals. Also, be sure to know where is country is located on a map (Caribbean, Europe, Central/South America, Africa). You need to know how to say them in both English and Spanish.

Tarea #2-4

List all of the Spanish speaking countries in both English and Spanish as well as their capitals i both English and Spanish. Also, be sure to include where each country is located in parenthesis underneath each country from your list.. Follow the outline given in class. This is how your paper should look:

Country -> País                                  Capital -> Capital

Complete the test corrections (questions and answers three times each).

Finish answering the questions on Article #2.

Read Article #3. Complete the Venn Diagram.

Finish reading Article #1: History of Day of the Dead and answering the questions.

Tarea #14

Using your notes from class today, write two paragraphs about what you saw and learned from the video on “Día de los muertos”.

Tarea #13

Get your Quiz signed and complete the corrections (BOTH Questions and Answers).

 

Tarea #12

Estudien! Tenemos un examen jueves el 26 de octubre. (Study! We have a test on Thursday October 26th.)

Get your quizzes signed and complete the corrections (both Questions and Answer) for each one on separate sheets of loose leaf. Be sure to staple the corrections to the back of your signed Quiz.

 

Tarea #11

Estudien! Tenemos un examen jueves el 26 de octubre sobre los saludos, las despedidas y las frases útiles. (Study! We have a test on Thursday October 26th on greetings, good byes/farewell and useful phrases.)

Bring all of your “tarjetas” to class tomorrow.
