For winter break, I would like for you to do the following:

  1. Read!
    • As the 40 Book Challenge is still in effect, and I encourage you to check out some of the books on my Recommended Book List
  2. Independent Reading Assignment!
    • Due Friday, January 8th, 2016– The Friday of the week you return from break.
  3. Study Parts of Speech!

If you owe me missing homework please work on it tonight.  All missing assignments must be in by next Wednesday.  The marking period will be ending not too long after we return from break!!

Quiz Outline – Investigations 1 and 2

Your quiz tomorrow is on Investigations 1 and 2.  You should study the following concepts:

  • Graphing exponential functions, creating a table, and creating the equation.
  • Know the difference between using n-1 and just n.
  • Evaluating exponential functions.
  • Writing exponential expressions in standard form.
  • Make sure that you know how to set up a graph with the appropriate scales.
  • Be able to describe patterns of change.  What do you notice about the growth rates?

7th Grade Homework

Hello Students! The following is homework that is due tomorrow, Friday, December 18th.

  1. Finish the Two-Voice Poem: Gathering Evidence graphic organizer from page 110. Choose two factors of survival and complete a piece of evidence for Columns 1, 2, 4, and 5. This will be a total of 8 pieces of evidence.
